Secretary

Alison has a research and public health background and over 30 years’ experience working at a state, national and global level with more than 100 organisations as a researcher, policy maker, advocate, leader, consultant, and board director.

Alison’s work also draws on her experience of reaching, sustaining and recovering from burnout, after which she charted a new, more fulfilling and sustainable path for her work and her life.

Since 2022, Alison has led Victorian’s peak health consumer agency, now based at Deakin University with a vision of a future where the expertise of communities and of lived experience is valued and embedded into every effort to improve health and wellbeing.
